Cooling for Every Space

Cooling for Every Space

We design solutions around how each space is used, occupied and serviced. From homes to hospitality and small industrial settings, we match the system to the workload.

Choosing the Right Cooling Setup for the Space

One size never suits every site. A compact flat in Milnerton needs something very different from a busy restaurant in the Cape Town CBD or a store room in Bellville. We look at room size, heat load, ceiling height, window exposure, daily use and how often the space is opened before we suggest an option.

That practical first step helps avoid systems that are too small, too noisy, or expensive to run during load-shedding recovery and long hot spells. It also helps reduce callouts later because the unit was matched properly from the start.

  • Homes, apartments and townhouses
  • Offices, consulting rooms and boardrooms
  • Shops, cafés and guest spaces
  • Cold rooms, freezers and back-of-house areas

Home Air-Conditioning for Daily Comfort

For houses and apartments, comfort needs to feel steady through the day and not spike the electricity bill. We install air-conditioning for bedrooms, living rooms and home offices across the Cape Peninsula, with neat pipe runs and placement that suits furniture, doors and natural airflow.

We also check the practical side: where the outdoor unit can go, how noise may affect neighbours, and whether the site has enough support and drainage. In coastal areas like Fish Hoek and Somerset West, correct positioning matters because salt air and damp conditions can shorten a unit's life if the install is poor.

  • Bedroom and lounge installations
  • Home office cooling
  • Noise conscious placement
  • Coastal corrosion aware fitting

Office Cooling That Handles Real Workdays

Offices need even temperatures, reliable controls and a setup that keeps people comfortable without blasting cold air into one corner and leaving the rest stuffy. We work in spaces from small admin rooms to full floor layouts in Claremont, Bellville and the CBD, where occupancy changes through the day.

We can assess service access, condenser positions and maintenance spacing so the system stays easy to clean and repair. That saves time when filters clog, condensers need attention or a thermostat starts reading wrong.

  • Reception and waiting areas
  • Open-plan offices
  • Private rooms and meeting spaces
  • Systems suited to regular servicing

Commercial Refrigeration for Stock, Safety and Service

Commercial refrigeration is about protecting stock, keeping temperatures stable and avoiding waste. We handle installations and repairs for cold rooms, freezers and related equipment for food service, retail and light industrial sites. If a unit starts cycling badly, running hot or forming ice, we look for the cause rather than just topping up gas and moving on.

Our work includes compressor replacement, thermostat replacement, leak detection and gas refills where the system is suitable for a refill. That approach helps keep product safe and reduces repeat breakdowns.

  • Freezer repairs
  • Compressor and thermostat replacement
  • Leak detection and gas refills

How to Tell What Your Site Needs

If you are not sure where to start, the best clue is how the space is used day to day. A room that fills with people needs different cooling from a storage area. A unit that runs all day needs different attention from one used only in the evening. We ask the right questions before we quote so the job fits the site and the budget.

Typical things we check include the room size, existing power supply, access for maintenance, and whether the equipment must cope with frequent opening, heat from appliances or coastal humidity. Sometimes the answer is a service and clean. Other times it is a repair, a gas refill or a full replacement.

  • Space size and usage pattern
  • Power and access conditions
  • Coastal or inland environment
  • Service frequency and downtime risk

Questions we get asked

How do I know whether I need a repair or a replacement?

If the unit is cooling unevenly, tripping, leaking or becoming costly to run, we inspect the fault first. In many cases a repair, thermostat replacement or gas refill is enough. If the system is old or the compressor is failing, replacement may be better value.

Do you work in coastal areas with salty air and damp weather?

Yes. We work across Fish Hoek, Somerset West and other coastal or near-coastal areas. Placement, drainage and servicing matter more in those conditions, so we recommend fittings and maintenance that suit the environment.

Can you help with both air-conditioning and refrigeration on the same site?

Yes. Many shops, cafés, offices and hospitality sites need both. We can handle air-conditioning, cold room repairs, freezer repairs, compressor replacement and regular servicing under one practical maintenance plan.
