What to include when you ask for a quote
The quicker we know the facts, the quicker we can quote accurately. For a home split unit, office air-conditioning, cold room or freezer install, send the room size, the number of rooms, the building type and where the outdoor unit can sit. If the job is in Cape Town CBD, Milnerton, Bellville, Claremont, Somerset West or Fish Hoek, tell us about access, parking and any body corporate or building rules that may apply.
We also need to know if you are replacing an old unit or starting from scratch. A new install may need trunking, drain routing, a stronger electrical point or a longer pipe run. That all affects the final quotation, so the more detail you give up front, the less back and forth later.

How we work out an installation quotation
Every site is different, even when the equipment size looks similar. A flat in the CBD with balcony access is not the same as a ground-floor shop in Bellville, and a coastal property in Fish Hoek may need better corrosion resistance because of salty air and humidity. We price the job on what is actually required, not on a guess.
Our quotations usually cover the unit supply if requested, installation labour, mounting, pipework, drainage, cabling and commissioning. If a site needs extra copper pipe, a wall bracket, a condensate pump or additional isolators, we spell that out. We also take note of load-shedding conditions and can advise on how the system should be started and used after power cuts so you do not keep calling for a service later on.

Home, office and commercial installs we quote for
We handle quotes for small home rooms through to larger office and commercial refrigeration work. That includes aircon installation in bedrooms, living areas, home offices and boardrooms, plus cold room and freezer installations for shops, kitchens and storage areas. If you need ventilation servicing as part of the project, we can include that too.
Commercial clients often need a phased approach. For example, a restaurant in Somerset West may need a cold room today and freezer repairs later, while an office in Claremont may need one boardroom unit now and more units after a tenant fit-out. We quote the job in a way that lets you plan the budget properly and avoid surprises halfway through the work.

What happens after you send your request
Once we receive your details, our team checks the scope and comes back with the next step. In many cases we can estimate from the information you send. If the site needs a closer look, Keegan will arrange the booking and one of our technicians will confirm the install requirements on site.
From there, Lindiwe and the installation team confirm the practical side, including mounting points, pipe routes and drain fall. If the job involves refrigeration gear, Ridwaan checks the technical side so the quotation reflects the proper size, fittings and installation method. It is a simple process, but it saves time and avoids rework.

Why a proper quotation matters before installation
A rushed quote often leaves out the parts that matter. That can mean extra charges for pipe length, unsafe cable runs, poor drainage or a unit that is too small for the space. We prefer to price properly first so the installation can be done once and done right.
Good quotation work also helps with building rules and municipal requirements. Some sites need notice before drilling, some body corporates only allow work during set hours, and some business premises need work planned around trading times. We take those points seriously because they affect the job, the timeline and your staff or tenants.
